KVM VPS is lightning fast

Oh my goodness, I just got a KVM VPS from Worldbus and it's incredible! Setup was super quick, like, minutes, and the performance is just stellar. I was a bit worried about migrating my old stuff, but it went so smoothly. I'm genuinely impressed with how responsive everything is now. Absolutely will be shopping here again, and I've already told my dev team about it. You guys knocked it out of the park!

Linux VPS worked fine

I got a Linux VPS a few weeks back. It provisioned pretty fast, which was good because I needed it up quickly. Haven't had any real issues, it's just been running in the background as expected. Support got back to me pretty quick when I had a question about an SSH key, which was nice. All in all, a solid experience, nothing to complain about.

Consistent service, always reliable

This isn't my first time with Worldbus, and once again, they delivered. I've used their Cloud VPS for different projects over the last year, and they're always reliable. This last order was for an NVMe VPS, and it was just as straightforward as previous times. Provisioning was quick, performance is spot on with what I've come to expect from them. It's why I keep coming back, honestly. Never had a major outage or anything that made me look elsewhere. They just consistently provide good service, which is hard to find sometimes.

Is there a money-back guarantee if I don't like the service after a few days?

M Marcus V. 1 month ago
They usually have one, yes. It's not super long, but it's there if you're not satisfied.

AFAIK, they do have a money-back guarantee, but I'd read the terms on their site to be sure about the timeframe and conditions.

How does Worldbus stack up against someone like DigitalOcean for a basic VPS? Price/performance-wise.

R Rosa F. 2 months ago
Worldbus can be cheaper, especially with their discounts. Performance is comparable for most things unless you need super high-end stuff.

I've used both. DigitalOcean feels a bit more polished maybe, but Worldbus offers better value, especially if you catch a promo. And they have more locations.

hey, was looking at a dedicated server plan. are they pretty quick with getting it set up once I pay?

M Megan Q. 2 months ago
Yeah, usually within a few hours for me. I got a KVM VPS last month and it was ready in like 2-3 hours.

Depends on the server config I think. My friend got a more custom one and it took almost a day, but that's still pretty fast for dedicated.

Thinking of moving my small business site over. Is their support decent if I run into issues?

S Steve Kim 1 month ago
Their 24/7 support is pretty solid. I've had to reach out a couple times and they're usually quick to respond.

Yeah, I've had good experiences with their tech support. Not super-fast every single time, but they get the job done.

Can I upgrade my VPS plan later if I need more resources?

R Rosa 1 month ago
Yep, totally. I started with a smaller one and scaled up without any issues. Pretty straightforward process.

You can, it's one of their features. Handy if your site grows unexpectedly.

Does Worldbus take PayPal? Or just credit cards?

F Faith A. 2 months ago
They take PayPal for sure, that's what I always use.

Yep, PayPal and credit cards. I think they have a few other options too, but those are the main ones.

Are there any current student discounts available for their hosting plans?

S Sophie G. 1 month ago
I remember seeing a student discount mentioned a while back, but not sure if it's still active. Might be worth checking their site or asking support.

Yeah, they do student discounts sometimes! Keep an eye out around back-to-school season.

where are their data centers located? trying to figure out latency for my users.

G Greg L. 1 month ago
They have a bunch. I know they have some in Europe and North America, maybe Asia too? It's on their website somewhere.

Yeah, multiple regions globally. Check their 'About Us' or 'Infrastructure' pages for the full list. Gives you good options for low ping.
